What did you do in 2008 that you’d never done before?
I took 6 classes and worked! I'm glad that I did well with everything, but I never want to do that again. I'm not a workaholic and constantly feeling pressured. I didn't have a whole lot of time to just relax or to even really put a whole lot into my work becuase I had to hurry onto the next one.
Did you keep your new years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I didn't make any. There are things I hope to do this year, but there not really resolutions. I just start doing stuff without planning to do it a certain date.

Thailand.
What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?

What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Making it out wih good grades.
What was your biggest failure?
Slipping up in my English class. Not really a failure, but I know I could have done way better.
Did you suffer illness or injury?
A bad fever the week before school, but nothing major.
What was the best thing you bought?
My two jackets or my shoes. Most of my new clothes in general.
Whose behavior merited celebration?
No one's I can think of.
Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
It was mostly a few incidents, but one of my friend's comments about how once I got a job that I was "finally getting shit done". Like quite a few other people I know, they feel that school isn't important and unless you have a job, you aren't accomplishing anything.

Stopped dressing like a nerd and started dressing nicer. Nothing too fancy or showy, but just nice, clean, and well put together.

Drawing and boobs. Oh, and drawing boobs.

What political issue stirred you the most?
Not really stirred, but the whole election. I got so tired of hearing about it. People getting hyped about both sides got on my nerves. I voted, I'm glad Obama won. It was just annoying to hear people talk like every problem in this country was gonna be fixed because Obama got elected.

Some of the people in class.

What was the nicest thing someone told you about yourself:
I got a lot of compliments on my appearance. People who knew me from years ago said they were really surprised to see me looking so good. lol
Also hearing that I was one of the best students in a class that I started out knowing next to nothing.

Being able to accomplish what I set out to do and improving mself in different areas.

Bringing too much stress on myself and not managing my time well.

I was so busy near the end of the semester, I don't even remember doing much else other than work and school. I made the mistake of taking too many classes and having work. To make things worse, my classes all seemed to have projects due at the same time. The final month at least 4 things due each week. Group projects, essays, tests, and the big English final essay. I messed around on that one and ended up trying to pull an all nighter on the final day but just missed. I started falling asleep so I went down at about 6 AM and woke up at around 10:30-11. The essay was due at 12 and I only got 3 of 5 pages done. I still managed to get a C in the class, though. The only other class I was really worried about was Cinematography. The teacher said I was doing well, but I was worried since it's still so new that I would make some big error. I did just fine in all other classes though. 5 A's and 1 C.
This semester was a lot of work and I will definitely be smarter next time. Being ambitious is one thing, but I gotta make time to rest too. Projects came out well, but a lot of them could have been so much better if I budgeted my time well. I had to skip on some things since I had other stuff to do. Next semester I only have 4 classes. One I think will be a lot of work, so I'm gonna make sure to plan ahead more to do better work.
The break has been okay so far. I've gotten some of the things done I wanted to do, but I'm still doing a lot of sitting around, staring at boobs on the computer. Resting is nice, but I'm almost ready to go back to school. I'm supposed to go back to work a bit to finish up, but I kind of don't want to. That's the thing I hate most about taking a break from anything, it can be tough to go back, especially when it's not a set schedule like with school.
